People Like Us is a collective name for the singular Vickie Bennett, an average, normal looking nice English lady who produces some of the most whacked sound designs from found musical objects that we've come across -- she gigs around England with some who are of like mind like Wobbly and a few others. We expect to do a full blown showcase on her very soon -- we want to get her on the phone -- we know it won't be boring -- this present cut is from a recording called "Abridged Too Far" -- she has a great wit and that ever present English cheekiness while using American media sources....

SLUSH PUPPY is a band we've known about for a long time -- led by Dawn Botti, a beautiful urban belter who does it good and looks good doing it. We went to her website and it doesn't seem too current -- we've been looking for her ophone number but it was too long ago -- we hope she's getting along because they were always one of the best unsigned talents around the NYC scene --

DEGENRATE ART ENSEMBLE is a quartet from Seattle and is a form of cross media performance groups. Apparently they perform with a few dozen other media artists and performance artists -- so in that environment, they defy description or genre classification and we like that -- it's a trend we started seeing a few years ago -- now the practicioners are starting to get exposure --
