Probably the best trumpet players that came out of the 1920's Jazz Era was RED NICHOLS, who also spawned and developed many of the stars of the Big Band Era of the 1930's. This collection of cuts are off a jazz site and they exist as captures from the orginal 78 rpm disks made of radio shows from Chicago sponsored by Brunswick Records. These cuts were made in 1928-29. NJOI -- these guys could rock!
